Description
Orren Turner's famous portrait of Albert Einstein, colorized. While this quote is attributed to Einstein by multiple sources, it's possible that he was being paraphrased from a lecture he gave in 1933, where he said "It can scarcely be denied that the supreme goal of all theory is to make the irreducible basic elements as simple and as few as possible without having to surrender the adequate representation of a single datum of experience." The saying is called Einstein's Razor in contrast to Occam's Razor, as a caution against over-simplifying.
